Joseph Fine

Joe has been handling medical malpractice cases for roughly 40 years.  He has pursued malpractice cases against hospitals, groups, and individual medical providers and their insurance companies.  He is known for the high level of detail and care he pours into each medical malpractice case, often times spending early morning hours reviewing countless records and expert testimony well before the sun comes up.  He skill in handling medical malpractice cases has been recognized be numerous organizations earning him membership in the American Board or Trial Advocates, the National Board of Trial Advocacy, the National College of Advocacy. He has lectured and taught regularly for other attorneys on behalf of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, the Albuquerque Bar Association, the State Bar of New Mexico, The National Trial Institute, and many other organizations.

He graduated from Colby College where he received his BA in 1967 and went on to obtain his JD from Syracuse University in 1970. His memberships include the State Bar of New Mexico, New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the  National College of Advocacy.  He is regularly asked by other plaintiff’s attorneys to mediate or otherwise assist in the settlement of complex medical malpractice cases.
